Flow measurement for thermal energy metering

The BBFM-H1M is a 1 MHz ultrasonic flow transducer for residential and industrial heat meters, cooling meters, district-heating metering, and HVAC energy metering. Its standard reference range is 0.05 to 3 m.

The standard acoustic specification gives a 6.2° ±10% half-power angle at -3 dB. Operating data includes -40 to +80 °C, pressure up to 10 kgf or 1 MPa, and IP68 protection.

Information needed for meter integration

Selection should define the operating medium and temperature, required measuring distance or acoustic path, target size and surface condition, mounting space, and interface dimensions. Operating pressure, environmental protection, drive and receive electronics, cable, and connection method must also be matched to the intended thermal energy meter.
