BBUFM-S Small-Pipe Clamp-on Ultrasonic Liquid Flow Meter

BBUFM-S small-pipe clamp-on ultrasonic liquid flow meter

Product Overview

BBUFM-S is a clamp-on ultrasonic liquid flow meter designed for small pipes and equipment integration. It uses the transit-time measurement principle and is installed outside the pipe with a size-matched bracket. No pipe cutting, drilling, or contact with the liquid is required.

Compact, remote, and remote high-temperature configurations are available. The meter is suitable for online flow monitoring of water, purified water, ultrapure water, and clean process liquids in cleaning equipment, beverage production, pharmaceutical systems, HVAC units, and industrial process equipment.

Key Features

  • Non-invasive clamp-on measurement without pipe modification
  • Size-matched mounting bracket for convenient positioning
  • Compact, remote, and remote high-temperature configurations
  • Compatible with metal and various plastic pipes
  • OLED display for instantaneous and accumulated flow
  • 4–20 mA, RS485/Modbus, and optional OCT alarm output
  • No moving parts, no additional pressure loss, and minimal maintenance

Typical Applications

  • Industrial and flat-glass cleaning equipment
  • Beverage, food, and pharmaceutical production lines
  • Purified-water and ultrapure-water systems
  • HVAC units and equipment cooling water
  • Chemical and process-liquid transfer
  • Small-pipe flow monitoring

Suitable Liquids

The meter is intended for clean liquids with stable acoustic properties and minimal bubbles or cavitation, including:

  • Tap water, purified water, and ultrapure water
  • Beverages and alcohol-based liquids
  • Acid, alkali, and salt solutions
  • Cleaning fluids and selected chemical solvents
  • Other process liquids suitable for ultrasonic transmission
