BBUFM-DP Fixed Dual-Path Clamp-on Ultrasonic Liquid Flow Meter

BBUFM-DP fixed dual-path clamp-on ultrasonic liquid flow meter

Product Overview

BBUFM-DP is a fixed dual-path ultrasonic liquid flow meter based on the transit-time principle. Two pairs of transducers establish two measurement paths on the same pipe. Flow rate, velocity, positive and negative net totals, and diagnostic information are available for each path.

The dual-path arrangement improves long-term measurement stability and provides additional information for assessing acoustic-path and installation conditions. The clamp-on transducers are installed outside the pipe without cutting it. Typical applications include water supply, water treatment, chemical processing, irrigation, and industrial process pipelines.

Key Features

  • Two acoustic paths measuring the same pipe
  • Independent flow, velocity, totalizer, and error diagnostics for each path
  • Non-invasive clamp-on measurement with no contact with the liquid
  • Designed for full pipes and liquids containing small amounts of bubbles or suspended solids
  • 4–20 mA, pulse, relay, and RS485 outputs
  • No moving parts, low pressure loss, and minimal maintenance

Typical Applications

  • Critical water-supply and industrial circulating-water lines
  • Water and wastewater treatment
  • Chemical and industrial process liquids
  • Irrigation and large water-transfer pipelines
  • Measurement points requiring enhanced stability and diagnostics
