Ultrasonic flaw detection for rails and industrial materials
The BBND-RT series covers 60 kHz, 200 kHz, 400 kHz and 3.5 MHz configurations for rail flaw and broken-rail detection, metal crack inspection and detection of internal defects in industrial components. The series supports air-coupled or contact ultrasonic inspection, depending on the selected frequency and inspection arrangement.

Inspection applications and selection
- Rail flaw and broken-rail detection
- Metal crack inspection
- Internal defects in industrial components
- Air-coupled or contact ultrasonic inspection
Frequency, bandwidth, acoustic path, coupling method, electrical matching, temperature and pressure should be selected as one compatible configuration for the material, thickness and expected defect size.
