Ultrasonic measurement for wind speed and direction
The BBFM-V105K is designed as a transducer component for 2D and 3D ultrasonic anemometers, meteorological monitoring, ventilation airflow measurement and industrial duct monitoring. Its center frequency is 105 kHz ±5%, with a stated reference range of 0.15 to 3 m.
The half-power beam angle is specified as 9.1° ±10% at -3 dB. An anemometer layout should account for this beam geometry and the intended acoustic path between transducers.

System integration
The transmit and receive electronics should be matched to a minimum impedance of 540 Ω ±20% and capacitance of 1200 pF ±20% at 1 kHz. Peak voltage must remain below 800 Vpp.
Use the dimensional drawing to confirm mounting space and transducer alignment. The installation should remain within -40 to +80°C and no more than 3 kgf or 0.3 MPa while maintaining the specified IP68 protection.
