28 kHz wetted transducer for liquid flow paths
The BBFM-Q28K is a wetted ultrasonic flow measurement transducer for industrial liquid flow meters, pipe velocity measurement and water-treatment flow monitoring. It can also be integrated into embedded flow measurement modules.
The standard configuration pairs a center frequency of 28 kHz ±20% with a 20° ±10% half-power beam angle at -3 dB. A second configuration pairs 28 kHz ±5% with a 53.7° ±10% half-power angle.

Electrical and installation matching
For the standard configuration, match the electronics to a minimum impedance of 55 Ω ±20% and capacitance of 65,000 pF ±20% at 1 kHz. Keep peak voltage below 3,000 Vpp.
Operation is specified from -40 to +80°C and up to 10 kgf or 1 MPa, with IP68 protection. The stated 7,500 g ±5% weight applies to the configuration with a 20 m ±0.3 m cable.
