External liquid level detection for tanks
The BBDM-5MR1M is a 5 MHz ultrasonic transducer intended for liquid level detection from outside a tank. Its documented reference range is 0.01 to 1 m, with a 0.8° half-power beam angle at -3 dB.
Specified uses include fuel and oil tank level detection, sealed tank level monitoring, vehicle and machinery tanks, and through-wall detection of corrosive liquids. This application range allows the sensing component to be evaluated where the liquid is contained behind a tank wall.

Specify the operating medium and temperature range, required measuring distance or acoustic path, target size and surface condition, available mounting space and interface dimensions, operating pressure, and protection requirements.
