BBUEM-S Small-Pipe Clamp-on Ultrasonic Heating and Cooling Energy Meter

BBUEM-S small-pipe clamp-on ultrasonic heating and cooling energy meter

Product Overview

BBUEM-S is a clamp-on ultrasonic heating and cooling energy meter for small water pipes. The flow transducer and matched temperature sensors are secured to the outside of the pipes with dedicated brackets, eliminating the need to cut or modify the existing piping.

The meter measures water velocity, supply and return temperatures, and temperature difference, and calculates accumulated heating or cooling energy. It is designed for central HVAC, heating, heat-exchange, and building energy-management systems.

Key Features

  • Dedicated configurations for DN15 to DN80 pipes
  • Externally mounted flow transducer and temperature sensors
  • No pipe cutting, process interruption, or contact with the liquid
  • Pipe-size-specific mounting brackets
  • OLED display for flow and accumulated energy
  • 4–20 mA output and RS485 communication

Typical Applications

  • Central HVAC chilled-water and cooling-water systems
  • Small heating and heat-exchange systems
  • Zoned building energy monitoring
  • Industrial equipment cooling water
  • Heating and cooling energy totalization
