150 kHz acoustic path for wind vector measurement
The BBFM-V150K is an ultrasonic wind speed and direction transducer for 2D and 3D ultrasonic anemometers, meteorological monitoring, ventilation airflow measurement and industrial duct monitoring. Its specified center frequency is 150 kHz ±5% and the reference range is 0.12 to 2 m.
A 9° ±10% half-power beam angle at -3 dB supports acoustic-path planning between transducers. The required path geometry should be defined for the target 2D or 3D measurement arrangement.

Transducer arrangement and electronics
For a multi-axis anemometer, select transducer spacing and orientation within the 0.12 to 2 m reference range while accounting for the 9° beam angle, airflow path and mechanical clearances.
The transmit and receive electronics should match the 240 Ω ±20% minimum impedance and 900 pF ±20% capacitance at 1 kHz. Applied peak voltage must remain below 600 Vpp.
Environmental and mechanical integration
Operation is specified from -40 to +80°C, up to 16 kgf or 1.6 MPa, and with IP68 protection. The stated 75 g ±5% weight applies to the version with a 25 cm cable.
