Underwater ranging across a 3–500 m reference span
The BBDM-D55K is a 55 kHz ultrasonic transducer for ranging and depth measurement in water. Its reference range is 3 to 500 m.
Acoustic and environmental characteristics
The half-power beamwidth at -3 dB is 26.6° ±10%. The transducer operates from -40 to +80°C, carries an IP68 protection rating and has a stated pressure limit of ≤10 kgf or 1 MPa.
