Underwater ranging and depth measurement
The BBDM-D25K is a 25 kHz underwater ultrasonic transducer for distance and depth measurement. Applications include underwater robot obstacle avoidance, measurement in tanks and bodies of water, and underwater target detection.

System selection
Selection should account for the required distance and acoustic field together with the operating temperature and pressure of the selected configuration. The operating medium, target size and surface condition, installation space, ingress protection, and drive and receive electronics should also be considered.
