90 kHz distance sensing in a lightweight format
The BBDM-90KR5M is an air ultrasonic distance transducer with a 90 kHz center frequency and a reference range of 0.3 to 5 m. Its specified half-power beam angle at -3 dB is 11.5° with a tolerance of ±10%.
The 23 g ±5% transducer uses 8.5 cm leads and is intended for automation proximity detection, short-range positioning, counting and target detection, and compact level measurement. It carries an IP68 rating and operates from -40 to +80 °C.
