Compact 80 kHz transducer for short-range measurements
The BBDM-80KR5M is an air ultrasonic distance transducer with an 80 kHz center frequency and a documented reference range of 0.3 to 5 m. Its half-power beam angle at -3 dB is 11.5°, with a tolerance of ±10%.
At 25 g ±5% with a 25 cm cable, the model is specified for automation proximity detection, short-range positioning, counting and target detection, and compact level measurement. It operates from -40 to +80 °C and is rated IP68.
