Thirty-metre reference range with a defined electrical load
The BBDM-22KR30M-B is an air-coupled ultrasonic distance transducer with a 22 kHz center frequency and a reference range of 1.0 to 30 m. It is intended for large-tank level monitoring, industrial distance measurement, collision avoidance, area monitoring and long-range target detection.
The listed electrical load is a 400-ohm minimum impedance with 9,500 pF capacitance at 1 kHz.

Far-range echo conditions
The 30 m figure is a reference value. Target size and inclination, atmospheric loss, temperature gradients and obstructions within the 13-degree field affect the received echo. The lower limit of the reference range is 1 m.
