BBAT-Q50D2 Product Overview
The BBAT-Q50D2 is a high-frequency piezoelectric ultrasonic atomizing transducer supplied with a matched driver PCB. Under rated conditions, it delivers a fog output greater than 50 mL/h with a droplet size of 2–3 µm. The configuration operates at 2.4–2.6 MHz with a rated power of 5 W and a 12 V DC input.
High-frequency vibration converts liquid into fine droplets for nebulizers, humidifiers, and other liquid atomizing equipment. Available configurations cover 1.7–3.0 MHz, 2–30 W, and 5–48 V DC, with rated fog output from greater than 5 mL/h to greater than 380 mL/h.

Coating Options
| Coating | Description |
|---|---|
| Nickel coating | Suitable for drinking water and liquids with similar properties |
| Titanium alloy coating | Provides enhanced corrosion resistance |
| Anti-corrosion coating | Intended for corrosive liquids and strongly acidic applications |
An anti-corrosion configuration should be selected when the liquid pH is below 5. Coating compatibility must also be evaluated according to liquid composition, concentration, and temperature.
Typical Applications
- Ultrasonic nebulizers
- Humidifiers
- Fog-generating equipment
- Liquid atomizing modules
- OEM atomizing equipment integration
Installation and Operating Requirements
- Apply forced-air cooling to the driver PCB heatsink.
- Connect the atomizing transducer to the driver PCB before switching on the power.
- Keep the active surface in contact with liquid during operation. Dry operation is prohibited.
- Use a float switch for low-liquid shutoff protection.
- Do not use electrode-type liquid-level control, as electrolysis can damage the coating.
- Ensure that no voltage difference is present between the transducer surface and the liquid.
- Connect a 5.1 kΩ variable resistor to the PCB VR port for power adjustment. Shorting the port provides full power; leaving it open sets power to zero.
- Periodically remove calcium, sodium, magnesium, silicon, and similar deposits from the transducer surface.
Performance Notes
Actual fog output and service life depend on input power, operating frequency, liquid properties, liquid temperature, water level, and atomizing equipment design. Reference service life is the accumulated operating time until fog output decreases to 60% of its initial level during continuous operation.
