Product Overview

The BBUAM-3D is a complete ultrasonic instrument for real-time measurement of three-dimensional wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, and speed of sound. With no mechanical rotating parts, it is unaffected by mechanical wear, inertia, or a minimum starting speed and can measure both horizontal and vertical air movement.

The instrument combines a three-dimensional measuring frame, ultrasonic transducers, and signal processing. Data can be sent to a host computer or control platform through RS485, RS232, analog, or optional wireless communication for long-term continuous observation.
